Aluminum chips melting system
Aluminum chips melting system is an innovative production line designed by our senior experts who have learnt Europe advanced technology and concept, combined with domestic and foreign customers’ requirements and practical suggestions. This system is designed for continuous melting of aluminum chips by submersion in a hot molten metal vortex. This aluminum chips melting system production line achieves a high metal recovery, low specific energy consumption, continuous melting in molten metal, no pollution, covers a number of technology patents and plays a huge advantage and function in the field of aluminum recycling.
Preheating process:
1. Skip elevator of chips baskets
2. Rotary Shredder, to obtain uniform chips size between 10-30 mm
3. Centrifugal Separator, to minimize lubricants and water content, up to 3-5%,
4. Magnetic Separator, to eliminate the ferrous parts accompanying the chips
5. Buffer Hopper of treated chips, previous the drying and melting process
6. Related belt and screw conveyors, between the different components
7. Rotary Drier, for complete evaporation of lubricants and water, supplying hot chips ready to be melted.
Preheating process:
1. Heating chamber, with regenerative burner to heat molten metal
2. Side well, for continuous melting aluminum chips
3. Metal pump, generates sink vortex
4. Dross discharge chamber ,for storing molten aluminum and skimming dross
Flue Gas Preheating & Treatment Features:
1. Use furnace flue gas and flue gas incineration heat to realize dual preheat automatic control. In the flue gas preheating process, all entries are sealed to minimize air into the drying chamber, reduce emissions of preheated flue gas, and improve preheat efficiency.
2. As the flue gas from drying chamber contains a lot of Volatile Organic Compounds, need to heat it to 800 celsius degree before discharging. Adopt out patented technology-non-commutative regenerative burner can substantial recovery the energy in flue gas, and re-burn flue gas, thus energy saving can be maximum to over 50%.
Vortex Melting Features:
1. Hot chips are continuously melted via side well chamber on the sink immersion vortex, by a combination of molten metal recirculation by an electrically driven mechanical pump and the thermal inertia of the melt.
2. The side well configuration attached to the main heating chamber, connected to it by two channels providing recirculation of molten metal. Chips are melted inside the sink vortex on molten metal without presence of oxygen, low oxidation is produced and therefore a high metal yield is obtained.
